One of my favorite projects that I have worked on was designing an enamel pin and pin card to raise money for my dog’s surgery. Since she has a small following on social media, I decided instead of just asking for money, I wanted to create a product that people could buy and proceeds would go towards her vet bills. I created the pin mock-up design and also a pin backing card to be sent along with it.

This was a challenge because I had never sent my designs to be made into a real product so I learned how to communicate with a company about how I wanted my product to be brought to life. I was also able to expand my marketing skills and used social media to help sell the product. The pins were very successful and I sold over 150 items to all around the world including Denmark, Australia, Switzerland, and Norway.
