In this photography series, I took on the challenge of photographing an editorial style spread for a “Farm to Table” magazine article. This project brought on new challenges for me because it was the first time working in an editorial style and I had to work in a timely matter while the food still looked appetizing. This project taught me many things about staged photography.
I understand how important it is to have the right angle and distance of the lighting equipment because too close would have created very harsh shadows and I wanted the scene to look soft and bright. I also learned the importance of having the right focal length of my lens. Overall, this shoot taught me to pay attention to little details and to keep moving things until it looks just right.
